During the initial meeting, your therapist will ask questions to understand the concerns and goals for therapy. This can include questions about symptoms, history, and lifestyle. Your therapist will also explain the therapy process and answer any questions you may have about the process.

During treatment sessions, your therapist will work with you to address your concerns and help you achieve your goals. This may involve talking about past experiences, exploring thoughts and feelings, and learning coping strategies. 

Your therapist may assign homework or activities to be completed between sessions. This may include journaling, practicing new coping strategies, or completing other exercises. The purpose of homework is to reinforce the work done in therapy and help you make progress between sessions.
